I created my own glaze transfers for these plates. The designs were created on newsprint paper and the colors had to be layered in reverse. Colored slip (the yellow/orange) background was then painted on (over the underglaze design) and then the paper was applied to the clay. I tried a different suggestion for applying the newsprint to the clay and it unfortunately lead to the images being patchy and I had to do several touch-ups. I will go back to the trusted method for my next underglaze transfer!
