These are the last of the pieces I created in the throwing class that ended in June. They are a speckled red clay that I glazed with celadons – snow on the inside, cherry blossom on the outside. I was hoping the pink would look more pink and unfortunately the pieces are on the very small side. But I’m proud of myself for not giving up during these throwing classes. I was hoping for more growth but with the stress of looking after my dad’s needs during this time, I honestly did the best I could and need to give myself some grace. Pottery is full of life lessons.
