I took an awesome hand building class this summer filled with lots of techniques for creating vessels without the pottery wheel. These pieces were created using various templates and I continued the silly line drawn cat and polka dot motif from a vase I created a week or two before these cylinders. I really love how these turned out – I actually like the scalloped piece the best, which I wasn’t expecting because the form seemed wonky at first. Such a fun six-week workshop! <3
