This mug was so fun to make! It was the first time I’ve done this silhouette – straight up and down wall, no tapering – in probably years. I used a really dark clay body during this six week course, so I had to paint white underglaze over the clay before adding the underglaze transfers.
I love avocados so I couldn’t resist ordering this sheet of transfers from Elan Transfers. I love how the images turned out and I HAD to paint a fun green underglaze on the handle. The mug is small in stature but so cute! <3
