I did a two day stained glass workshop last week where we used repurposed glass as the center of a flower and we designed our own petals. I was able to take the piece home before soldering during the second class because there were so many pieces to wrap with the copper foiling. We used copper re-strip around the center and top petal to reinforce the piece. The copper re-strip was also used to create the hanging loop at the top. This was such a fun piece to make!
