I’m in the middle of a hand building class, and I really want to improve my handbuilt mug skills. These mugs are a little slimmer at the bottom and gradually flare up. My handles are getting better – I used a tool from a set I found on Amazon to create these. Since my clay body is a beautiful dark brown, I painted white underglaze before I added the yellow – just to make sure it would pop. I then carved these fun little cat illustrations. I got inspiration from a doodle a day book I happened to have. Love the yellow, the drawings, and the beautiful dark brown clay! <3
