Scalloped Bowls

  • Scalloped Bowls

Scalloped bowls! This was such a great workshop I took back in September from one of my favorite instructors. We hand built the bowl forms, measured where the scallops would go, and then used smoothing techniques to create the scallops. Eight seems to be the magic number for the scallops and then I used a wooden tool to create the slight indents on the outside of the pieces. I choose a mint green glaze and I love how they turned out! I have so many bowls in my kitchen that I decided to turn these into succulent planters. <3
