In mid-April, I took a succulent planter workshop at my clay studio and was able to make this adorable little guy! We used a pre-made template to create the body of the planter, carefully assembled the sides, added legs, and finished off with store bought underglaze transfers. The clay body is brown, so I went with white transfers so that the designs would really pop.
I love how the piece turned out and I made sure to trace one of my instructor’s templates. That way I can recreate this planter this summer when school’s out and I have more time on my hands. I can’t wait!
