So many workshops, so little time…
I love attending workshops – clay, stained glass, basketry, embroidery, jewelry – just about anything I can afford to attend.
I especially enjoy taking one day workshops, so I can come home and immediately, obsessively practice my new hobby.
I was recently down in our basement/garage looking for my beading supplies so I could make some bracelets for the Taylor Swift Eras show in Atlanta (yes, it was amazing). I went on a journey through my hobbies – mosaic supplies, yarn for knitting, jewelry supplies for chainmail, acrylic paint – so many plastic tubs. All the supplies brought back such happy memories – when I get into something I tend to get obsessive. I have a pretty good track record for completing projects, although occasionally I do put a project to the side and don’t go back – usually due to time restraints or honestly I find a new obsession.
The photos below start around 2012 but I have been taking workshops consistently since I started teaching in 2006.
