I just recently took my third intermediate stained glass class. I chose an abstract pattern and once again I think my favorite part of the process is selecting the colors. I picked one multi-colored piece of glass and from there I picked out the the purples and oranges that seemed to match up with the veining of the initial piece.
The glass cutting really clicked for me this time and I felt more confident cutting the pieces. The workshop took place over two evenings, which was necessary for a larger piece. After we cut the glass for our patterns, we ground the edges of the pieces, cleaned them up, and added copper foil around all the pieces. We moved on to soldering and then I finished mine off with a black patina. I love the final result! <3 <3 <3
